Meeting Notes to CRM Agent

Human-approved · Starter · High severity

Works with: Teams (transcripts) or Grain, D365 Sales, Planner

The problem

The best customer intelligence a company generates — what was said in meetings — dies in notebooks and transcript files. CRM updates after meetings are the most-skipped task in sales, so the system of record is always a week behind reality.

What the agent does

  1. Trigger: meeting ends and a transcript/recording note is available (Teams native or Grain).
  2. Matches the meeting to the D365 account/opportunity via attendees.
  3. Extracts: decisions, commitments (ours and theirs), next steps with owners and dates, risks, and any changed deal facts (budget, timeline, competitors).
  4. Drafts the CRM update: activity summary, field changes, follow-up tasks.
  5. Human approval: rep confirms in Teams with one tap (or edits); agent writes to D365 and creates the tasks.

You need this if

Who uses it

Sales reps, account managers, executives.

What goes in, what comes out

In: meeting transcript, attendee list, existing CRM record. Out: approved activity notes, field updates, tasks.

Why it pays

The CRM finally reflects reality without asking reps to type. Data quality gains feed every other agent in the catalog — a force multiplier.
