Pipeline Hygiene Agent
Human-approved · Starter · High severity
Works with: D365 Sales, Teams
The problem
The pipeline number is fiction: dead deals padded with hope, missing close dates, opportunities with no next step, stage names that mean different things to different reps. Forecasts built on this are guesses, and managers spend review meetings cleaning data instead of coaching.
What the agent does
- Trigger: weekly (before pipeline review).
- Scans open opportunities for hygiene violations: no activity in X days, past-due close dates, missing next steps, value outliers, stage/probability mismatches.
- Drafts per-rep fix lists ("update or justify") and a manager summary of pipeline quality trends.
- Human approval: proposed bulk fixes go to the manager to approve; the agent applies approved changes.
You need this if
- Forecast misses with no early warning
- Pipeline reviews consumed by data cleanup
- CRM adoption is inconsistent across reps
Who uses it
Sales manager, owner, reps.
What goes in, what comes out
In: open opportunities, activity history, stage definitions. Out: rep fix lists, manager quality summary, approved bulk updates applied.
Why it pays
A believable forecast changes cash and hiring decisions. Secondary: pipeline reviews get 30+ minutes back weekly.
