Sales-to-Delivery Handoff Agent

Human-approved · Standard · High severity

Works with: D365 Sales, SharePoint, Teams, Planner/Project

The problem

The classic gap: what sales sold isn't what operations hears. Promises live in email threads and call notes, special terms get lost, and the delivery team rediscovers scope in front of the customer.

What the agent does

  1. Trigger: opportunity marked Won in D365.
  2. Gathers the quote/contract, CRM notes, email threads, special terms, pricing, promised dates, and stakeholders.
  3. Drafts a structured handoff packet: scope, commitments made, risks, open questions for sales.
  4. Human approval: the selling rep confirms/corrects the packet.
  5. On approval: posts the packet to the delivery Teams channel, creates the kickoff task set in Planner, and files the packet in the customer's SharePoint folder.

You need this if

Who uses it

Sales reps, delivery/ops manager, project leads.

What goes in, what comes out

In: won opportunity, quote, notes, emails. Out: approved handoff packet, kickoff tasks, filed documentation.

Why it pays

Cuts kickoff delay and prevents scope surprises — the most expensive kind of rework. Strong fit for project-based clients (construction, manufacturing, services).
