SMS Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

By opting in to receive SMS (text) messages from UniverseIT (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these SMS Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms apply in addition to any general Terms & Conditions or Privacy Policy you may have which are incorporated herein by reference.

2. SMS Service Description

We use SMS to send you one-to-one, service-related text messages regarding your account, service updates, technical support, or other operational communications. This service is not intended for bulk marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes.

3. Opt-In & Consent

You may opt in to participate by providing your mobile number via our opt-in form and consent checkbox. The opt-in form clearly states that you agree to receive such SMS messages, including disclosures that message frequency may vary, message and data rates may apply, and that you can reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time.

4. Message Frequency & Data Rates

Message frequency varies depending on service activity, account status, or your interactions with us. Message and data rates may apply to each text message sent or received, depending on your mobile plan.

5. Opt-Out & Unsubscribe

You may unsubscribe from the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any SMS you receive from us. After you reply STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and no further service-related SMS messages will be sent. To re-subscribe, you may reply START or submit a new opt-in via our form.

6. Support / Help

If you require assistance, reply HELP to any SMS or contact us through our support email. Standard message and data rates may apply to your mobile carrier.

7. Embedded Links & Content

We will never include third-party shortened links (e.g., bit.ly) or redirect through unbranded domains. We will not include embedded phone numbers in message text for dialing purposes.

8. Data Use & Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS-related data with third-parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is used solely for the purpose of enabling the SMS service described above and maintaining required compliance records.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Amendments will be posted on this page with a revised “Effective Date.” Your continued receipt of SMS messages after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
